In the skies over Knik Glacier, Alaska.

A fathomless blue for which there are no boundaries.1

  1. Musical reference aside, it was truly shocking to see the how much damage global warming had wreaked upon the glaciers. It’s not evident in this photo but in other places and glaciers we visited there were massive barren barrows in the ground from where the glaciers had retreated over the past few years. Seeing the earth laid bare like this drove home the existential fear of climate change in a way that we had never felt before.
