One last drive along the Pacific Coast Highway from Big Sur up to Mount Tamalpais to watch the final sunset of 2019…
It’s somewhat fitting that we finished out the year from the place where this whole endeavour started a mere 10 months ago, born from a desire to simplify and reduce our lives to align with a uncomplicated idea that often times “good enough is good enough…”
We’re not sure how much progress we’ve actually made towards that goal, but regardless, it has been a challenging, wonderful and amazing year - and decade - in so many different ways and we wouldn’t have traded it for the world.
And as we watch the sun set on 2019 for the final time from the top of Mount Tamalpais, we are filled with a complex mix of optimism, hesitation and anticipation for the new decade to come.
